This policy explains what information we collect when you interact with Build Busy, which books appointments for local businesses and builds the AI that answers their enquiries, across the United States, and how we use it. We keep this simple and honest, the same way we run the rest of the business.
Information we collect
- Information you give us. When you fill out a form, ask about appointment generation, book a call, or contact us, we collect what you provide: your name, phone number, email address, business name, business type, and anything you write in a message or notes field.
- Booking information. When you schedule a call through our booking calendar, we collect the appointment details you choose along with your contact information.
- Usage information. Our pages may use cookies and advertising pixels (such as the Meta pixel) that collect standard analytics data like pages visited, device type, and approximate location. This helps us understand what works and show relevant ads.
How we use your information
- To respond to your enquiry, and to schedule and hold calls you book.
- To send you messages you have opted into, by text or email, about your inquiry or our services.
- To operate, improve, and advertise our services.
Text messaging (SMS)
- By opting in through one of our forms, you consent to receive text messages from Build Busy about your enquiry, scheduling and confirming calls, and appointment reminders. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply.
- Reply STOP at any time to opt out. Reply HELP for help.
- No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. SMS opt-in and consent data is never sold or shared with anyone else for their marketing.
Sharing
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with the service providers that run our operations (such as our CRM, scheduling, hosting, and payment platforms), and only so they can provide those services to us, or when the law requires it.
Data security
We protect your information with industry standard safeguards. All of our pages and forms are served over encrypted HTTPS connections, and your data is stored on access controlled systems provided by our hosting and CRM vendors, who encrypt it in transit and at rest. Access is limited to the people who need it to serve you, protected by strong passwords and two factor authentication where the platform supports it. We review who has access periodically and remove it when it is no longer needed. No system is perfectly secure, so if we ever become aware of a breach affecting your personal information we will notify you and the relevant authorities as the law requires.
Retention and your choices
- We keep contact and booking records for as long as they are useful for serving you and meeting legal obligations, then delete them.
- You can ask us at any time to see, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you. Email or call us using the contact below and we will take care of it.
- You can opt out of texts by replying STOP, and out of emails using the unsubscribe link in any email.
